Chanika Jones is a mother of 6 children, and she has 4 grandchildren. She is also a mother of 2 autistic kids, one of whom is nonverbal. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant and Certified Med Tech. She has worked as a Job coach for individuals with intellectual disabilities and she worked as a CNA and a Residential Counselor in housing for individuals with disabilities and as a direct hands-on worker for various companies. She loves to sing, and dance and enjoys spending lots of time with her family. She loves being an advocate for her 2 sons who are autistic and helping to educate others in the community and around abroad that autistic and individuals with intellectual disabilities can do things as people who don't have disabilities. It may take them longer and more resources to achieve it, but they can do it. She is seeking to get her associate degree in business, so she continues to help individuals with disabilities about finances.
