Lisa-Renee Thompson Bio
Ms. Thompson has a love to design training solutions that inspires the instructors, engages the students and incorporates the fine arts. She brings over 10 years of experience as a user-centric Learning Experience Designer and Researcher for law enforcement, federal government and private sector programs. While completing her Bachelor of Science for Simulation and Digital Entertainment at the University of Baltimore, Lisa worked with the exhibition, education and accessibility specialists at the National Museum of American History to make the visitor experience more accessible to all patrons.
To learn more about designing for students with accessibility challenges, Ms. Thompson volunteered as a Quality Assurance Reviewer in the studio for Recordings for the Blind and Dyslexic now called Learning Ally. At the University of Maryland Baltimore County, she continued her user experience research, instructional technology and instructional systems design in the Post-Baccalaureate program. Lisa looks forward to working with the L.I.F.E. Inc. community and contributing to the technology training programs. Let’s get started!
